Bart Stockton is a third-generation Realtor and a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker. He graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with real estate concentration. Beginning his career in 2001, Bart worked in marketing and training at a residential real estate company and at a real estate licensing school where he managed student services and co-authored real estate courses and textbooks. Today, Bart serves on the training team at Dallas City Center as Compliance Administrator & contract review specialist and as the transaction/marketing/listing manager for a successful sales team which has been named to D Magazine's Best Real Estate Agents list from 2008 to present. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Beaumont Board of Realtors, where he taught new-member classes and chaired the Education Committee. Currently Bart is a member of the National, Texas, and MetroTex Associations of Realtors as well as a Life Member of the Texas Real Estate Teachers Association, having been awarded their coveted Certified Real Estate Instructor (CREI) designation, the 2014 Presidents Award, and serving in various positions on the Board of Directors including Secretary, Membership Director, and Conference Director. Bart is an approved instructor by the Texas Real Estate Commission for pre-licensing and continuing education. In addition, Bart has completed Transnational Referral Certification (TRC), Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource certification (SFR), Real Estate Professional Assistant certification (REPA), the ePRO technology certification, and has been designated as a Graduate of the Texas Realtor Institute (GRI). He has authored manuals and courses on contract forms, leasing procedures, open houses, contract-to-closing procedures, real estate marketing, prospecting, contract loopholes, and buyer representation, among other topics.
